We have completed
the following objectives |

Maintain a functional Diocesan Committee
that meets at least 4 times per year and has an annual plan. |

| *2. |
Send your (Arch)Bishop and Regional Chair
a year end summary of activities of your committee including strengths
and weaknesses. |
|
| *3. |
Contact each unit leader at least once
a year. |
|
| *4. |
Promote and encourage participation of
each unit in the Pope Paul VI Award Program. Adopt this as your
Quality Catholic Unit Award. |
|
| *5. |
Conduct an annual adult leader training
program (Religious Emblems Counselor, Scouter Development, Scouting
Coordinators, etc.) |
|
| 6. |
Initiate a contact with the head of each
Catholic chartered organization or the COR annually by means of
postal mail, email, phone, newsletter, etc. |
|
| 7. |
Submit at least one Gold Medallion application
to your Region Chair. |
|
| 8. |
Conduct an annual youth religious program
such as a retreat, day of recollection or historic event. |
|
| 9. |
Discuss with local BSA Council ways to
charter new units, increase youth membership and reduce dropped
units. Use your information to develop your Diocesan Membership
Growth Plan, and implement this plan. |
|
| 10. |
Present your committee’s plans of activities
at a Roundtable, Pow-Wow, Scout Show or Program Preview meeting. |
|
| 11. |
Initiate and conduct a plan to inform
DCCS members and unit leaders to use the NCCS website nccs-bsa.org
and to register for free copy of the eBridge at http://www.nccs-bsa.info. |
|
| 12. |
Send out at least twice a year, a diocesan
Catholic Scouting print or electronic newsletter, or host a website
where Scouters can get information. |
|
| 13. |
Submit at least one article per year
to the Church Diocesan newspaper/publication promoting Scouting
in the Church. |
|
| 14. |
Conduct at least one new unit impact
luncheon or Bishop’s Dinner. |
|
Remember to order a patch for your (arch)bishop and other key members
that assisted in attaining the patch.
